Who we are
The children of Mzikubola, working for their home
Bana Ba Kwa Mzikubola Trust (BMT) has been established to promote and uplift educational, agricultural, health, environmental, climate change, cultural and artistic activities within the jurisdiction of Inkosi Mzikubola, in Mzimba, Northern Malawi.
Our home
Under the leadership of Inkosi Mzikubola
Our work lives in the highlands of Mzimba in Northern Malawi, a land of ridges, rivers and red earth, and the heartland of Ngoni heritage.
"Bana Ba Kwa Mzikubola" means the children of Mzikubola. The name reminds us that this Trust belongs to the people it serves, and that each of us carries a duty to the land, to our elders and to the generations that follow.
BMT is a non-profit community development trust, supported by traditional leadership including Inkosi Mzikubola III and Inkosi Ya Makhosi M'mbelwa V. Officially launched on 7 December 2019 at Kazomba Full Primary School, Mzimba.
